Gartner Positions Oracle as a Leader in EPM Space

Oracle was recognised as a Market Leader for the seventh consecutive year in Gartner’s  2014 Magic Quadrant for Corporate Performance Management Suites report.

Gartner’s Magic Quadrant reports position vendors within a particular quadrant in terms of their completeness of vision and their ability to execute. In this year’s report, Oracle is positioned ahead of 15 vendors and awarded the highest ability to execute and the strongest in completeness of vision.

Oracle was recognized for having a deep and broad CPM offering along with the largest customer base of all the vendors with a significant number of large deployments. Gartner also recognized a number of significant additions to Oracle’s CPM solution, including:

• Embedded OBIEE
• Mobile delivery capabilities in Hyperion Planning,
• Improved visual rule capability in HFM,
• Support for Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management on Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine,
• A new module for tax provisioning
• New account reconciliation functions.
